Another fun NaNo November!

Thanks to everyone in the fun and fabulous Snoqualmie Valley Region for homing with us and/or tagging along! It was an added bonus and challenge to be a co-ML this year and lead the charge of the SnoValley NaNoRhinos! It was a tough win for me this year, and all the sweeter for surprising myself and coming through in the final sprint.

AND A BIG CONGRATS TO ALL THE WRIMOS EVERYWHERE! GREAT JOB AND THANKS FOR TAKING THE CHALLENGE WITH US!  AND THANKS TO THOSE AT NANOWRIMO.ORG FOR MAKING IT ALL POSSIBLE!

Wahoo!

2013-Winner-Twitter-HeaderHappiness is crossing the winner’s line at 52,750.

Great is being part of a region that wrote nearly 2 million words! Not bad for 104 active members of USA::Washington State::Snoqualmie Valley! Our word count per writer was almost 3860 words more than Seattle’s!! 30 have crossed the winner’s line so far.

However – everyone who started writing, who kept writing, who will still write are winners – in that they(we) have made it a point in acknowledging that ‘YES, we are writers!’

Four days until our TGIO party!

This story will ferment for a while, with the creative attention turning towards the Arthouse Co-Op Sketchbook Project due mid-January. Then time will be set aside to sort out the first NaNo (Crossing Seasons) for potential publication.

How did you fair? What will you do now?
